Suffolk-based VKVP Haulage went on a mission to put a smile on the staff and students’ faces this festive season as a huge thank you and reward for all their hard work.

VKVP Haulage operations director, Mark Bennett, had the enjoyable job of surprising the school with a selection box for every student and a box of chocolates for the teaching staff.

Mark Bennett explains: “Over the last 12 months, we have worked in partnership with the school, organising an on-site lorry visit to teach children about HGV vehicles’ capabilities, stopping distances and career opportunities in the logistics sector, as well as Easter gifts, Christmas Fair donations and now some Christmas cheer. It is a privilege to give back to the community this way.”

Mark Bennett met with Lucy Beston, deputy head of Langer Primary Academy, who gratefully accepted the gifts on behalf of the children and her colleagues.

VKVP Haulage is pleased to continue its ongoing support of Langer Primary Academy and is collaborating with the school to identify priorities in 2023.
