VKVP Haulage adds a further 30 new DAFs to its fleet

Container logistics specialist, VKVP Haulage, continues its fleet upgrade programme with the recent delivery of twelve DAF XF530 tractor units. VKVP’s equipment investment strategy will see a further eighteen vehicles delivered by the end of September, bringing the total to 30 and reaffirming its commitment to fleet regeneration.

Supplied on contract hire by Ipswich-based Seven Asset Management, drivers of the new vehicles will want for nothing as each unit is equipped with a TV, microwave, fridge, mirror cameras and full recording DVS (Direct Vision Standard).

Mark Bennett, VKVP’s operations director, says: “For us, 2022 is all about laying sound foundations for our future and ensuring our drivers have the best truck for the job. The DAF XF530 delivers a high vehicle specification and an impressive fuel efficiency, vital with the current spiralling diesel costs and low CO2 outputs.”

Seven Asset Management’s managing director, Tom Dunnett, adds: “VKVP’s commitment to excellence made the DAF XF530 the perfect choice for its business. It is an award-winning, clean emission truck with a reputation of second to none. Each vehicle has been supplied on a four-year contract, including after-sales support, service and maintenance, tyres, breakdown assistance and 24/7 access to our support team, as part of the agreement.”

Established in 2014, independently owned, VKVP Haulage provides a comprehensive range of services, including nationwide container movements, shunting, transhipment, distribution, and storage.
