VKVP Haulage Limited are pleased to announce we have been assessed and have met the Bronze level requirements of the Fleet Recognition Scheme (FORS).
Starting in w/c 13/7/20 after our successful Operators Licence increase we will commence using the New operating centre at Fordham near Newmarket . The Yard can be used for overnight parking and as the Operating Centre for 10 trucks.
In March just prior to lockdown, we have moved into our new office on our Felixstowe site . As we are growing quickly we had outgrown the old office and the new building will ensure all the staff can communicate properly and be comfortable in a good working environment .
On Friday 10/7/20 we had confirmation that we been successful with our application to increase our Operators Licence by a further 10 trucks and 25 trailers . Well Done to all involved !
In early July we have taken on 2 x Curtainsider trailers which we will work alongside our existing container business . In addition to this we now have trucks working regularly on European Tautliner Business from DFDS Terminal in Felixstowe . Over the first period of 2020, we are preparing for the arrival of 33 replacement Renault T Range Tractor Units. This order alongside the previous Mercedes tractor units that arrived in January will see us update over half of our current fleet, all of the new vehicles will feature our distinctive VKVP livery. As we prepare for a busy 2020 we have added 5 replacement Mercedes Actros Tractor Units to our fleet, this is part of the ongoing fleet renewal cycle and these will all be operational from January 2020.

Today 28/1/19 we have finally to move our Operational Staff to the New Yard in Felixstowe. This move will enable us to improve our communication with the driving staff and will allow the Operational Staff to build on the already strong relationships with the drivers whilst at the same times increasing our controls.
